Where many retail store chains and online suppliers begin with an entry level plastic lens line, and only provide shatterproof optical polycarbonate and High Index lenses in their premium lines, every single Crystal Cornell Optic prescription lens set is shatterproof optical polycarbonate. Every one of our prescription lenses is 100% UV safe, and additionally, every Crystal Cornell Optic prescription lens set comes with state of the art anti-scratch coating at no additional charge.

Crystal Cornell Prescription Entry Level Lens Series - $84.50

The Crystal Cornell Entry Level Lens Series begins with a 100% cast Optical Polycarbonate blank cut to your prescription for your choice of frame. Each set is 100% UV safe, and is finished with an anti-scratch coating. Lenses are hand fitted to each frame to ensure a zero fit, failsafe retaining of the lens for long term secure service.

Crystal Cornell Medium Grade Lens Series -$112.50

The Crystal Cornell Medium Grade lens set is a thinner cast Optical Polycarbonate lens offering a thinner, more stylish lens which is both attractive and shatterproof. This lens is ideal for rimless frames where a “glass-like” appearance is desired. Perfectly clear polished edges can add to the “glass-like” look if desired.

Crystal Cornell Premium Lens Series -$183.50

The Crystal Cornell Premium Series. This is a Hi-Index lens series featuring ultra-thin, high-index refractive properties that provide the thinnest, lightest possible lens set for any prescription. This series offers state of the art coatings like Anti-Reflective, Antiscratch, and the new Clearguard Anti-smudge coating that reduces cleaning and abrasion over conventional coatings.

Our prices run approximately 50% of the price you would find in a retail chain-affiliated store in a mall. Crystal Cornell has vast experience with lens coatings including the new Clear-Guard, which reduces cleaning, smudging and scratching. We also have Crizal, which are a little more in cost, but have a devoted following across the country.

As Crystal Cornell is located less than 5 minutes from the Northeast Regional Zeiss Lens Laboratory, the turn-around time is usually only 24 to 48 hours.

Which Lens Type is Right for You?

We feel the right lens is just as important as the frame shape, color or size. The lens choice will determine the thickness and visual accuracy of your prescription. We use only the high quality brands listes above-- never cheap imitations.

You can add a variety of different colors of tints to your lenses and turn them into sunglasses. We recommend polycarbonate lenses for active people, children under the age of 18, and for eye-threatening working situations.
